Rose is an Emerging Leader Representative of the Duke of Edinburgh International Award for the Africa region and is a life member of the Award Holders Alumni Association of Kenya, holding Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards. She is a First Responder of St John Ambulance and a Data Analyst who enjoys research. Miss Poka is an educator of sciences, and is enthusiastic about the power of all types of education in creating positive change. She is passionate about giving back and making the life of others better, and believes in the infinite potential of young people. She believes that “Everyone has something to offer, No one has everything. None of us exists alone.”
